ABOUT / METHODOLOGY

A public record.

An independent, community-maintained archive of Tesla’s ended projects and announced wind-downs.

What belongs here

Discontinued products, cancelled projects, ended programs, and announced production wind-downs. Ordinary model-year changes and unsupported speculation are excluded. Acquired businesses may appear for historical context, with their origins and acquisition clearly stated.

How to read a status

Discontinued
A released product or operating program has ended. Remaining inventory or support may continue.
Cancelled
An announced project was ended before customer delivery.
Announced wind-down
A future ending or factory wind-down has been announced. It is not counted as an already ended project, and does not automatically mean global discontinuation.
Absorbed brand
A business or brand integrated into Tesla. It is excluded from the ended-project count.

Dates and evidence

Dates use only the precision supported by sources. Released products start with customer availability; cancelled projects start with announcement. Production completion, withdrawal from sale, and brand acquisition are different events, explained in each record. Planned dates never change a status automatically.

Every entry links to evidence for its start and ending, preferring company statements and filings, followed by reputable reporting. “Last verified” records the most recent source review, not a claim of continuous monitoring. This is a maintained archive, not an exhaustive list.
